There are three regional airports that service the Costa de Tropical Granada Almeria,Granada and Malaga. Velez de Benaudalla also has excellent motorway access.
Our apartment near Granada can be reached from 3 Spanish airports. Granada being the closest approximatly 40 minutes away,with both Malaga & Almeria airports 90 minutes. Flights to Granada are currenty operated by Ryanair from East Midlands,Stantead & Liverpool. Flights to Malaga & Almeria are operated by Easyjet from various regional airports. Granada Airport
Granada is to the north of the region and is approximately 50 minutes from the costal towns of Salobreña and Motril. A small airport where there are rarely any delays when you check in, or with baggage collection. However not all car rental companies are based within the airport and it may be necessary to catch a mini bus to their offices. Check prior to booking your car what exactly the collection arrangements are.

Almeria Airport
Almeria airport is to the east of the region and approximately 90 minutes drive from Motril. This is currently a small friendly airport, and it normally very quick to check in, rent a car etc. Past passport control there is a cafeteria and duty free shop.
